Jane and Perry got married at the fabulous Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe, set on the side of a cliff with two beaches, a ladies and a gents, it was the Victorians who made the tunnels! and an open air gazebo and terrace for the ceremony. The day started off rather grey but we had a wonderful ball of fire sunset to end it. They had also booked a wonderful and weird band.

Alec and Merryn got married at St Gennys Church near Crackington Haven, one of the most beautiful churches in Cornwall, the back of the church opens directly out onto the coast path to make for some stunning photographs if you don't mind the odd gravestone. Next we went to Widemouth Bay for some beaches shots before ending up at a Marquee overlooking Widemouth bay, a really great day.

Ruth and Warren St Martin's Island Isles of Scilly

I was very lucky this year to be asked to photograph the wedding of Ruth and Warren on St Martins Island. The couple live on the Island and the whole population of the Island were invited to the wedding resulting in the little church being packed to the rafters. It was one of the few times the whole population around 100 had been together for an event so the photographs had added significance. The ferry timetable meant we had to arrive on the Friday and stay until the Monday (the hardships of being a wedding photographer!) There are alot of pictures of people standing on a rock, this is the rock where Warren proposed to Ruth but because of the shifting sands it was a lot higher off the ground than normal. At the end of the wedding there were fireworks and an amazing firewalker. I have included some pictures we took of the Island on the Sunday when we walked around the Island. A truly memorable experience.

I had such a wonderful day at Leigh and James's wedding, it was held at Talland Bay near Looe on the south coast of Cornwall. It has possibly the prettiest church in Cornwall, after the ceremony we went down to Talland Bay for some pictures, then it was up to a Marquee overllooking the bay for a vintage tea party. Leigh and her bridesmaids all looked stunning. I will always remember the singing and dancing to a medley of disney songs it was just brilliant.

Sam and Tim got married at Kitley House near Plympton on Good Friday this year at the outside gazebo, Sam's family had travelled over from Zimbabwe and Tims family originate from Scotland, the wedding cake was a fabulous colourful affair based on the Zimbabwe flag. The partying went on long into the night.

Alex and Gemma were married on the 21st April and the fabulous Dartington Hall near Totnes Devon, the gardens at this time of year were in full bloom and made for some wonderful photographs. Gemmas dress was a very classy lace creation, which reminded me of Kate Middleton's dress at the royal wedding the year before.

Naomi and Gary were married at Yurt Camp in Devon, they had an outdoor humanist ceremony and for most of the day they were fortunate enough to have lovely weather but in the evening the heavens opened, but it didn't spoil a great day.

Kathrine and Sean got married on 27th September 2012 at Mawnan Church, this is a beautiful church out on a penisular near Falmouth, we then went to the Ferry Bridge Inn on the halford river estuary for some shots and then onto Boscarne Down for some photographs overlooking Falmouth before finally arriving at The Green Lawns Hotel Falmouth for the reception.

Gemma and Christy got married at Polhawn Fort, Saltash. They had one of the best days in June with the sun shining from dawn to dusk. The views from the Fort overlooking the bay were superb.
Christy works for Chelsea football club as a video analyst working with the 1st team manager Roberto di Matteo. I suppose it was too much to ask for some tickets especially as I am an Arsenal fan, having said that all his table decorations featured Man Utd players!

Kerry and Mark got married in September 2012 at the New Continental Hotel in Plymouth, at sunset we went down to Plymouth Hoe for some pictures. Kerry was just stunning and a pleasure to photograph

Katy and Jamie got married in May 2012 at St Mellion International Golf Resort. When I turned up at Katy's parent's house in the morning she was on the front lawn, she looked so stunning that I nearly drove into the hedge!

Jo and Arthur got married at Chacewater church near Truro and then had their wedding reception at the lovely Old Vicarage at Treleigh. This was their first real wedding since they opened as a wedding venue and I think it will be very popular.
